• Next method is sinuous spring system in which sinuous springs are “S” shaped and run from front of the seat to the back seat. These springs are supported by extra wires that cross from side to the side which makes it a strong seat, and it might be preferred for a sleeker style as it requires less space.

Filling

• The most common filling is high density polyurethane which are higher in the density forming firmed cushions. Foam can be wrapped in softer material or cotton that makes it softer. Dacron wrapped foam is the cheapest one, but again it does not last long.
• Make sure that you are getting high density foam of lower quality that can start breaking down very fast.
